Alternative Fuel Storage Building
Detailed design of ESFR sprinklers and foam fire protection systems, hose reels, and custom spray-nozzle conveyor fire protection for 40,000 sq ft storage building in Richmond. One of the first such facilities in Canada for use of alternative recycled materials (wood, plastic, and rubber) for supplementing kiln preheating and heating for manufacture of concrete. Project was completed in early 2019.
Misting System for Fuel Conveyor Fire Suppression
In 2020 we also completed a supplemental design and implementation support for a water misting system for monitoring and control of potential fire hazards from conveying alternate fuels into high temperature furnaces.
